Financial Analyst
Having been an entrepreneur who has both started and exited a business, I now consult with various owners to ‘work their problems’ and develop creative, programmatic solutions.
Where many people may see a stack of papers, reports, statements and miscellaneous documents, I see the possibility to tease out issues, efficiencies and alternative approaches. My specialties include data and forensic financial analysis, project management and budgeting.
I would describe myself as a fast learner and I am of the opinion that it’s best to face complex situations, issues and difficulties head-on. This is put to the test in my role with a US-based, multi-national company selling on a global scale. I coordinate all import/export paperwork and logistics, including into the Chinese market, in addition to handling all distribution channels and growth opportunities in North America.
I am constantly updating my knowledge and skills so I can confidently provide the best options for clients. I have a degree in Human Ecology, an accounting diploma and have completed my CGA courses.
If I had no commitments, I would want to live in a New York City penthouse, complete with a rooftop pool. Words I live by are “try your best or don’t bother.”
